Dropbox is an online file hosting service which allows you to 
upload and store files to folders.
I have been using Dropbox for several months now and truly value its services. I store and therefore backup my important files. So, back, when my computer went kaput there is no worry for me as the files are hosted online as well. Once I get my computer working again these files are easily downloaded again.
Once you download and install the programme a folder is created on your computer say desktop where you can drop your important files. These files are automatically uploaded on the Dropbox account online. Not only that, it syncs the files whenever you make any changes in the Dropbox folder/files on your desktop, too.
Dropbox also allows users to share folders with each other or with a second computer. If you are using a PC and a laptop you can always access your files when using either computers.
A free account with Dropbox gives you 2 GB storage. You may upgrade your account to 50GB or 100GB by paying a monthly fee.
The storage capacity for both free and paid accounts can be increased incrementally by referring others to this neat service.
